Steinman終於在加州一偶然機會下相識而開始了另一個改變他們一生的搖滾演唱事業。1977年Meat Loaf以驚天動地橫空出世之姿，發行專輯，全球狂銷3400萬張，一時之間肉塊不是肉腳，倒是成為舉世聞名的搖滾巨星。原籍美國德州的Meat Loaf本名Marvin Lee
Aday，以成名之後陸續發行續集、第3集相同概念專輯，並演出超過60部影視作品，尤其以Cult經典洛基恐怖秀、鬥陣俱樂部這兩部電影為人所津津樂道。
