The Great Game dedicate their performances to exploring one of the most basic qualities of good music, which is a big range of dynamics. This concept developed into what we’re calling 'symphonic trio jazz', which includes an exciting fusion of modern jazz with strong influences of romanticism, grounded with rhythms from the Afro/Latin Jazz world.
The Great Game has been founded in 2023 by pianist Falk Bonitz, drummer Jose Garcia and bassist and trombonist Brandon Lin. The band performed multiple times at Jazz Festival Taipei and has hit most of Taiwan's jazz clubs. It's influenced by Scandinavian jazz, Latin Jazz and European romanticism.

《The Great Game》 將他們的演出獻給對音樂最根本特質之一的探索──豐富多變的動態層次。這個概念逐漸發展成他們所稱的「交響三重奏爵士」，融合了現代爵士與浪漫主義的深刻影響，再以非洲／拉丁爵士的節奏為根基，展現出充滿張力與激情的音樂風格。
The Great Game 成立於 2021 年，由鋼琴家 Falk Bonitz、鼓手 Jose Garcia 以及兼任低音提琴與長號的 Brandon Lin 共同創立。樂團曾多次登上台北爵士音樂節舞台，也活躍於全台各大爵士樂俱樂部。他們的音樂風格深受斯堪地那維亞爵士、拉丁爵士以及歐洲浪漫主義的影響。
