賈第納爵士1987年首次為DG旗下古樂廠ARCHIV Production錄製巴哈聖誕神劇，轉眼間已經超過35年，2022年12月再度錄下這套經典作品。賈第納這次全新錄音收錄現場音樂會實況，利用兩個晚上率領子弟兵蒙台威爾第合唱團暨英國巴洛克獨奏家，於倫敦聖馬田教堂進行演出，發行2CD+1BD版本。
巴哈著名的聖誕神劇又名聖誕節清唱劇，是巴哈為獨唱、合唱及樂團而作的重要神劇。全曲共分成六部清唱劇，於1734年聖誕節到1735年主顯節間的六次禮拜儀式中進行首次演出。六部分別基於不同聖經場景，洋溢對於基督誕生的喜悅，是巴哈最受歡迎的宗教作品之一。目前歐美國家大多在降臨節與聖誕節期間，完整或分部分地演出。
