? The relationship between music and literature has always stimulated me. The memories and images that one can have of a narrative can inhabit and magnify the notes of a composer. I wanted to imagine the music that Emma Bovary might have listened to during her short life, evoking the often-forgotten women composers of Flaubert's time.
