Couleur cuivre is the first part of les Siecles' chamber music collection with NoMadMusic, giving pride of place to the brass quintet. Iconic formation mixing arrangements and original pieces, formal music and light music, its repertoire adjusts itself to places and circumstances: concert venues, private rooms, outdoors pavilions, universal exposition halls… This album thus offers to rediscover some of Debussy's and Duka's pieces in a new light, alongside original pieces such as Victor Ewald's Quintet, one of his many works composed for brass instruments.
