不和諧音樂家四重奏
"Four musical individualities – David Grimal and Hans-Peter Hofmann (violins), David Gaillard (viola) and Xavier Phillips (cello) – brought together by friendship and passion, roaming the paths of
the musical world and pursuing their lives as soloists, orchestral players and chamber musicians, met for the first time in the music of Leoš Janacek. Since then they have travelled in the company
of Bartok, Mozart, Webern, Beethoven and Schubert. The Quatuor Les Dissonances indicates their desire to come together in an essential activity, playing string quartets in the spirit of the
collective 'Les Dissonances', founded by David Grimal a decade ago: untrammelled high standards, freedom of affinity, a thirst for invention.
Formed in 2012, the Quatuor Les Dissonances has already appeared in such venues as the Opera de Dijon, the Opera Comique, the Opera National de Paris, the Theatre des Bouffes du Nord, the Yehudi
Menuhin Festival in Gstaad, the Geneva Conservatoire, the Franconia Festival in Germany and the Musika Musica Festival (Bilbao).
Their first recording with Janacek's 'Intimate Letters' Quartet and Schubert's 'Death and the Maiden' Quartet, is released on the Dissonances Records label in September 2017."
