首張EP《SEAWEED 海藻》與羣島的海島印象結合，將海洋生態的風景象徵現代青年之於社會的寫實情境。樂團成員的父母輩皆為戰後嬰兒潮的年齡層，也是台灣當代最大的人口分布族群；相對的青年族群則是少子化甚劇，並且在成長過程中不斷被灌輸為草莓族的七年級生。在扶養比日漸升高、金融風暴後貧富差距擴大、太陽花學運後的時局動盪，都造成許多不安定的壓力因素，使得我輩青年在社會化的過程中遭遇到很多前所未有的挫折與困境。《SEAWEED 海藻》這個作品除了反映這樣的現實外，也期許在社會中持續奮鬥的青年們能如海藻一般不畏懼嚴苛的環境與時代的洪流沖刷，創造屬於我們的時代，遍地而生。
 Their first EP《SEAWEED》combines ARCPLG with their image of islands, using the scene of a ocean to represent the situation of young peoples in the contemporary society. All the band members of ARCPLG are grown in families of baby boomer parents, which is also the same as the most populations in Taiwan. In the opposition, low fertility rate is a significant phenomenon among young peoples, who are deem “fragile as strawberries” by the society. Due to the rising aging index, the expending uneven distribution of wealth after financial crisis, and the tumultuous time after sunflower movement, the generation is getting unprecedented frustrations and difficulties in the progress of socialization. Their work《SEAWEED》is not only trying to reflect this kind of situation, but also encouraging youth peoples struggling in the society to start their own generation without fearing the severe world and wearing days.
