第2期fripSide初のベストアルバムを2作同時リリース!
「the very best of fripSide 2009-2020」は、アニメタイアップを軸にした第２期fripSideの代表曲全30曲をCD2枚組にて収録。「blackfox」（劇場アニメ「BLACKFOX」主題歌）、「We Rise」（アズールレーン中国版三周年主題歌）をCD初収録。
初回限定盤特典Blu-rayには、2019年11月23日、横浜アリーナにて行われた「ANIMAX MUSIX 2019」のfripSide出演シーン（曲目未定）、および2020年2月23日に仙台サンプラザホールで行われた「fripSide Phase2：10th Anniversary Tour 2019-2020 -infinite synthesis 5-」
前半10曲を収録予定。
