LMFAMILGLIA the follow-up EP to last years' blockbuster "Lazymuthafucka" album. The new EP, which consists of four songs, is pretty much the same you can expect from the boys from LMF: the same old hip-hop beats and bass with lyrical madness from the MCs. There is nothing you haven't heard from LMF before (if you count the lack of profanity as a sign of their maturity, then I think you should start checking whether you are mature enough to accept profanity as an expression of human speeches). The music were apt with an obvious RZA influence (lush strings and suspension chords piano tinkling over buttery basslines), although the obligatory rap/rock crossover track sounded dated as well as a cheap imitation of "homie rockers" that littered the US pop music scene. The lyrics are upping the positive vibe, although many of them are either banal or throwaway affairs. The rhymes....seemingly this EP is a rushed job and the flow is less natural than their previous efforts. All the pitfalls of using Cantonese in rhymes are present: awkward rhymes, staccato (non)flow are everywhere. Other MCs might be inexperienced, but they should not happened to MC supreme Yan.
