   《In the Hot Seat》是英國前衛搖滾樂團 Emerson, Lake & Palmer 的第九張也是最後一張錄音室專輯，於 1994 年 9 月 26 日由 Victory 唱片公司發行。專輯在洛杉磯 Goodnight L.A. 錄音室錄製，由 Keith Olsen 製作。

　由於鍵盤手 Keith Emerson 和鼓手 Carl Palmer 的健康問題，這張專輯的製作過程變得複雜。 Emerson 的神經出現問題，導致他難以控制右手。由於手術後恢復情況不佳，他不得不用左手配合右手彈奏部分。 Palmer 患有肢體併發症，導致手指麻木，他也接受手術治療。

　《Daddy》由 Lake 為紀念失蹤兒童 Sara Anne Wood 創作，旨在提高公眾對失蹤和被拐兒童的關注。這首歌最初的版稅為5000美元，捐贈給了薩拉安妮伍德救援中心，這是伍德父親創立的全國性非營利基金會。

　《Street War》起源於1988年夏天，萊克與傑夫·唐斯以（Ride the Tiger）為名進行合作，但這張專輯對這首歌進行重新製作，添加和重寫部份歌詞，創作成新的音樂。 《Ride The Tiger》最終於2011年發行。
