Regarded as one of the greatest composers of the French 'Grand Siecle', Louis Marchand leaves us a colorful, highly inspired, music of creative boldness. Emmanuel Arakelian here explores some of his most beautiful pages, played on two historical instruments, the Isnard organ (1774) of Saint-Maximin la Sainte-Baume and the harpsichord of Assas castle.
