奇異的光芒低音四重奏

The bass quartet "Cet etrange eclat" borrows its name from a poem by Louis Aragon, and in its sound research is inspired by the art of "sfumato" theorised by Leonardo da Vinci. Deploying a wide range of colours in a programme ranging from Corelli to the first great French composer for cello, Jean-Baptiste Barriere, these four young artists, trained in particular by Christophe Coin, manage to fuse the violone (a large six-stringed bass viol, with a register close to that of the double bass), the viola da gamba, the cello and the harpsichord into a homogeneous sound without losing the singularity of the grain of each of the strings)
