蘇格蘭民謠巨擘Jackie Leven在94年組織起名為「THE HAUNTED VALLEY」的私人歌迷俱樂部，俱樂部會定期發行高品質的自有刊物及不對外發行；專屬於會員的年度專輯。很可惜目前「THE HAUNTED VALLEY」已不復存在，但Leven為了紀念過去這段美好的時光，因此特別於09年開始重新發行《The Haunted Year》系列，繼之前已先出土的【冬季篇】與【春季篇】，《The Haunted Year-Summer》緊接著登場！由「Barefoot Days」與「Deep in the heart of Nowhere」兩場錄音結合成的【夏季篇】，Jackie Leven使出說唱俱佳的渾身解數，紮實的彈唱表現出民謠搖滾最質樸的動人能量！
