60年代英國搖滾樂團The Zombies曾經以"She's Not There", "Tell Her No", 以及"Time of the Season"等歌曲紅極一時，跟披頭四一樣成功地打進美國市場。1968年發行搖滾經典之作「Odessey and Oracle」後宣告解散。其中成員Rod Argent另組Argent樂團，主唱Colin
Blunstone則在1971年推出個人首張專輯「One Year」。這張專輯運用大量的管弦樂，優雅動人且具有流行樂甜美旋律，Colin Blunstone的歌聲乍聽之下跟90年代Chamber Pop代表人物Eric Mathews頗有相似之處。這三張專輯更可以跟Tindersticks、The Pernice Brothers、Belle and Sebastian、Liam Hayes
and Plush等樂團作品一同聆聽，會覺搖滾翰海深不可測，掏得一寶果真其樂無窮。
