Available on 180 gram vinyl is the debut album from the legendary Joan Baez. Her self-titled album went to #15 on Billboard chart when it was released in 1960 and remained on the chart for an astonishing 140 weeks. The recording has been honored by the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences in 2011, who inducted it into the Grammy® Hall Of Fame; and by the Library of Congress in 2015, who selected it to be preserved in the National Recording Registry. Long out of print on vinyl, this new reissue was cut from the original stereo tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio, pressed and plated at RTI and packaged in a Stoughton old-style tip-on jacket Considering our vinyl price drop last month, our version should be very competitive with the PD version available. Furthermore, our Craft release uses the original cover and is pressed on 180 gram vinyl.
